Subscription and Payment Answers

Is this a free or temporary service?

MyFertilityCharts is a free service. It is operated as part of the Hormonal Forecaster to offer solutions to meet user's fertility needs. There is no cost associated with signing up or using the basic features of this online service.

There are optional advanced features which some users may wish to pay for. These services are competitively priced to offset costs associated with offering this service. The following questions cover subscription credits in more detail. If you never purchase credits, you will still be able to use this site. After you run out of free credits, you will only be able to view the most recent recorded data that falls into the standard grace period (currently 35 days). Advanced chart analysis including chart shading to indicate fertility and ovulation date calculation will also stop working if credits are never refreshed. You will still be able to enter data and view charts indefinitely without these special features though.

What can online credits be used for?

Online credits are applied to fertility data records. One credit is good for one record associated with a fixed date. Once a credit is applied to a date, that record will remain accessible indefinitely. Without credits, older fertility data records will expire when they become outdated beyond the grace period. The records are still retained in the system, but will be inaccessible until credits are applied to them.

How do I purchase online credits?

Simply click on the Account Settings on the main menu and then select Purchase Additional Credits or click here. Once you purchase credits, they will automatically appear in your account. You use the Account Settings link to apply credits to records too.

Why are my credits being applied automatically?

When you enter brand new records online, available credits are automatically applied to these records. This is done to ensure that your fertility records remain accessible. The grace period associated with unpaid records excludes credited records, so there is no disadvantage to applying credits to new records.

I started off with credits that I did not pay for; will I be charged?

During promotional events, users may be issued a nominal number of credits when they first create a new account. These credits are free and are given away to help you see how credits work and allow you more time to evaluate this online service before the grace period limits access to older fertility records.

Promotions may also grant new users amnesty from credits. This permits new users to have credits applied to manually created new records during their first few logins. These records will be marked credited, but credits will not deduct from your credit balance. This is intended to allow users to apply issued credits to future records and avoid using them up entering past cycle data. This special treatment only applies to your first couple of login sessions when applicable.

Why should I consider purchasing credits?

By maintaining adequate credits, you guarantee that you can always access older recorded data. Users that buy and apply credits are also entitled to advanced computational features not available to others. This includes chart analysis which is used to calculate ovulation dates from symptothermal data and shading of your fertility charts. Shading directly depicts your fertility levels in an easily understood manner that makes charts much easier to interpret and understand. Since these features require advanced computational effort, they are reserved for users that financially support the cost of services on this site.

How can I view my credit balance or payment history?

After logging in, click on the Account Settings link on the main menu. From there you can use the Apply Credits to Records link to manage or view your credit balance or click on the View Payment History link to view your history of payments.

Why was I not refunded a credit when I erased a given date's record by setting it to all defaults?

Once a credit is associated with a date, it cannot be revoked. The credit is not lost though and still exists for that date. If you re-enter fertility data on that date, it will continue to exist as a credited record.

Are payments secure?

Yes. Payments are processed through third party companies that specialize in online transactions and security.

Can I access my data even if credits are not applied?

Yes. You can access your most recent fertility records that fall within the grace period regardless of whether or not you are applying credits. It is recommended to apply credits to all records to enable all analysis and features, but it is not a requirement to chart your most recent data.

I still don't understand credits and grace periods?

This answer will attempt to explain how credits and grace periods work with a detailed example. If you are not interested in following a detailed example or understanding this in great detail, you can skip ahead to read the simpler answer.

Let us say that you sign up and initially purchase or acquire 30 credits. These credits will be applied to the first 30 records you enter online automatically. Assuming one record per day, you will therefore run out of credits after 30 days. At this point you will still be able to access all 30 records and retain full interpretation capabilities.

Further assume that you decide not to purchase any credits at this time. When you enter your 31st record, it will not have a credit associated with it. You will still be able to view this record though because it falls within the grace period. If we assume that there is a 35 day grace period (defined by site administrators), then you will be able to enter 35 additional records without experiencing limited access to any of your data records. At the end of 65 days (assuming 65 fertility data records), you will still be able to view all recorded data and charts. Chart interpretation (shading and ovulation date calculation) will no longer be enabled though since you are relying on your grace period.

When you enter your 66th record, you will have exceeded your grace period allowance (66 records - 30 days with applied credits - 35 day grace period = 1 day inaccessible). Now you will no longer be able to view your 31st recorded record because it is not paid and not within the 35 day grace period. At this point it would probably be best to purchase credits and apply them to fertility records to keep everything accessible. Really it would have been best to maintain a credit balance all along so that you can enjoy all interpretation features and associated support. To further the example though, let us assume that you still do not purchase any credits and go on to record another 60 days worth of records.

In between your 66th and 125th records, you will only be able to access a moving window of the most recent 35 days of data (the grace period). You will slowly lose access to older fertility records that do not have issued credits applied. This pattern will continue indefinitely. The original 30 records will always be accessible because they were credited. After 125 days, you will still be able to view your first 30 records and the associated fertility chart. You will always have access to these. Since you are relying on your grace period, records 31 through 90 will be inaccessible though. The image below shows how the amount of inaccessible data grows as you use the system from 77 to 125 days without purchasing any credits. Notice that you can always access credited records and your most recent records which fall within the grace period.

Fabricated example showing the impact of usage without credits

At this point, you could purchase credits and simply apply them to new records as they are entered. This would enable advanced interpretation features, but would not enable access to your old records. If you were to buy 90 credits and apply 60 of them to the existing uncredited records, you would be able to access all your data, still have credits to spare, and enjoy all advanced site capabilities.

While it may appear as though skipping records would save on credits, missing records can significantly hinder chart interpretation. It is therefore strongly recommended that you record data every day to make chart interpretation easiest for yourself, your health care provider, and/or the Hormonal Forecaster (desktop program or MyFertilityChart web edition algorithms).

I am still confused about credits and grace periods?

Although this may sound confusing, it need not be. If you want to always have access to all of your data and enjoy advanced features such as chart interpretation to better understand your fertility, then always maintain a credit balance and everything will take care of itself. If you ever fall behind, buy credits and then apply credits to all past uncredited records.

If you refuse to buy credits, then simply record records and accept the limitations. You will only be able to access the most recent 35 fertility records at any given time and will not be able to take advantage of any advanced fertility features.

Hormonal Forecaster Answers

What is the Hormonal Forecaster?

The Hormonal Forecaster is a family of software programs that specializes in fertility management and analysis. It was originally introduced in 2000 as a desktop program and has since grown to include simplified versions that target several different platforms. MyFertilityCharts is the website that hosts the Hormonal Forecaster Web Edition. This is a web version of the Hormonal Forecaster. Like the other derivations of the original (the Hormonal Forecaster Pocket PC Edition and the Hormonal Forecaster Palm Edition), the web edition supports synchronization with the primary desktop application. This allows users to synchronize data with the main desktop program and take advantage of the desktop versions full computational power.

The Hormonal Forecaster can be downloaded and used as a stand alone application running on any PC with Microsoft Windows with or without use of MyFertilityCharts.com (aka the Hormonal Forecaster Web Edition). For more information on the Hormonal Forecaster including links to free downloads and screen shots, visit its homepage at http://www.hormonalforecaster.com.

Why does the Hormonal Forecaster desktop version specify a different ovulation date?

The Hormonal Forecaster implements a more elaborate analysis algorithm than the web edition of it that is hosted on MyFertilityCharts. Under certain circumstances, the desktop program will calculate an ovulation date that will typically be no more than one day plus or minus what the web edition will calculate on its own. Frequently the calculated ovulation will be the same. If not and you synchronize with the desktop version, it will copy its superior calculated ovulation date to the web so that it can be used instead. In circumstances where the two versions conflict, the desktop version should be given more emphasis and will actually override the web edition calculation if synchronization is performed. This is due to the fact that the web edition uses a more streamlined and efficient algorithm to calculate ovulation to balance computational loading on the server.

Does the Hormonal Forecaster cost money?

The desktop version of the Hormonal Forecaster can be download and used for free for evaluation without any obligations. After the evaluation period ends, you are encouraged to register it. More information on licensing options for the desktop version are available here.

The Pocket PC Edition, Palm Edition, and Web Edition (MyFertilityCharts.com) are separate and free. For the best overall experience, users are encouraged to use them with the desktop version to synchronize their data. Synchronization allows users to enter data using any platform and synchronize their records for consistency. This is not mandatory though. Users can optionally continue to use the other editions indefinitely for free with potential limitations or pay to register or subscribe to them separately. Registering the Hormonal Forecaster desktop version entitles users to a Palm or Pocket PC license. Since the desktop version greatly compliments the other versions by adding more detailed analysis and features, it is a popular licensing option. As mentioned, the desktop version includes synchronization support for the Web Edition. The web edition is credit based as described on this site.

How can I download records from MyFertilityCharts to the Hormonal Forecaster?

First you need to download and install the Hormonal Forecaster. Web Edition synchronization is included in version 5.1 or higher. If you do not already have version 5.1 installed, you can download the Hormonal Forecaster by simply visiting http://www.hormonalforecaster.com.

Once you have the desktop program installed, you can run it and select Launch Web Edition Sync from the File menu. This will run a special synchronization program capable of connecting to MyFertilityCharts.com. You will need to configure the utility to access your account by entering your username and password. You will also need to specify the *.HFC desktop data file to synchronize with. If you do not already have a Hormonal Forecaster dekstop data file, you will first need to create one. You can do this by running the desktop version, selecting New from the File menu, and then selecting Save when done configuring the file.

Once you have configured the web synchronization utility, you simply use the Transfer Data button to upload and/or download data records. You need to be connected to the internet for this to work. The utility will connect to MyFertilityCharts.com and perform the requested transfer of data and log the results and update your *.HFC desktop data file.

Detailed step-by-step instructions on synchronization can be found here. A list of resolutions for common errors is also listed on that page.

Is there anyway I can recover records I accidentally deleted and then synchronized?

If you delete records on one platform and synchronize, they may be deleted on the other platform too. The Web Edition, Pocket PC Edition, and Palm Edition all backup desktop data files before each synchronization. For the case of the Web Edition, several past copies of your desktop data file are stored in the \BACKUP\ subdirectory of the Hormonal Forecaster installation path (e.g. by default C:\Program Files\Hormonal Forecaster\Backup\). The files are named "websyncXX.hfc" where XX represents a sequential ordering of the files where 1 is a copy of the file before the last synchronization, 2 is from two synchronizations ago, etc.

If necessary, you can open these files and use the Save As menu option under the File menu of the Hormonal Forecaster desktop version to create a new copy elsewhere on your computer. You should NOT work with the copy residing at this location since it will get overwritten during the next synchronization.

How does synchronization decide which record prevails?

The Web Edition of the Hormonal Forecaster keeps track of which records have changed. This information is used by the synchronization utility to make decisions about how to copy records. The following common scenarios can occur:

Desktop VersionWeb Edition Synchronization Action
New RecordNo Record The record will get copied from the desktop to the web edition.
No RecordNew Record The record will get copied from the web to the desktop version.
New RecordNew Record Conflict: The record will get copied from the web to the desktop version.
Matching Unchanged RecordMatching Unchanged Record No action necessary.
Unchanged RecordChanged Record The web edition changes will be downloaded and copy over the desktop version data.
Changed RecordUnchanged Record The desktop version changes will be uploaded to the web edition and overwrite its record.
Changed RecordChanged Record Conflict: The web edition changes will be downloaded and copy over the desktop version data.
Deleted RecordUnchanged Record The corresponding web edition record will be reset to defaults.
Unchanged RecordDeleted Record The corresponding desktop version record will get deleted.
Deleted RecordDeleted Record No action necessary.

These decisions are made on a field basis and are not simply applied to the entire record. This means that a change to your temperature on the web edition and a change to your cervical mucus entered with the desktop version for the same date (both different fields of a fertility record) will be handled separately. The new temperature reading would be downloaded to your PC for the desktop version and the new cervical mucus data would be uploaded to overwrite the data currently set by the web edition assuming that their counterparts have not changed also.

Can I synchronize web records directly to a Pocket PC or Palm handheld device?

No. All synchronization must go through the desktop version of the Hormonal Forecaster. If you want to synchronize with the web edition and a handheld edition, you must accomplish this by individually synchronizing with the desktop version.

Do I have to use this site with the Hormonal Forecaster software?

No. This site is intended to complement the desktop version of the Hormonal Forecaster. You can use the desktop version by itself (independent of this site) or alongside it by running the web edition synchronization utility. Records are only transferred to this site if you manually use the utility to transfer them. The Hormonal Forecaster desktop version will not connect to the internet by itself.

Where can I find out more information about the Hormonal Forecaster?

You can read about, view screenshots, and even download the Hormonal Forecaster by visiting the program's homepage: http://www.hormonalforecaster.com/

Can I download and run the Hormonal Forecaster desktop version on a Mac or Unix machine?

No. The Hormonal Forecaster desktop version only works on PCs with Windows. Unless you have software to emulate Windows (e.g. VirtualPC), then you cannot run the desktop version. You can still use this website and enjoy the web edition of the Hormonal Forecaster without it though.

First your patients need to add you as a sharing destination. Once they have logged in and specified that they want to share their data with you, you will see their name appear on your list of patients. You can view this list by using the My Patients' Data link on the main menu.

Fertility Charts and Interpretation Answers

What are the letters on my fertility chart?

The Period and Mucus row uses four letters. Which letter appears on your fertility chart depends upon the symptoms you have recorded for the date in question. The recorded cervical mucus sensation, appearance, and composition are combined to form a standard charting mucus indicator.

The Cervix Position row uses three letters. Which letter appears on your fertility chart depends upon the symptoms you have recorded for the date in question.

The Saliva Ferning row uses three letters. Which letter appears on your fertility chart depends upon the symptoms you have recorded for the date in question.

The Ovulation Test row can be used to indicate the result of any ovulation tests that you may have taken. A "+" sign indicates that a positive ovulation test result was recorded on the given date while a "-" sign indicates that the test result was negative.

Why are the charts shaded?

Chart shading is a patent pending feature recently introduced by the Hormonal Forecaster. Each day is shaded to represent your fertility level on that day based upon a given symptom. Each row is shaded separately. Light shading represents low fertility levels and dark shading represents proportionately higher fertility levels. This feature quickly allows you to observe fertility trends on your chart and understand how recorded symptoms directly correlate to your actual fertility.

Why can I no longer choose to shade charts based on fertility?

The Shade Chart Based on Fertility checkbox will be disabled if you are not carrying a positive balance of credits. Chart interpretation and ovulation date calculation will also be disabled. If you use up all of your credits, you can add credits using the Purchase Additional Credits link under your Account Settings to enable these features.

If you are unfamiliar with credits, you can read more about their role in the Hormonal Foreccaster Web Edition by clicking here.

How is ovulation indicated on the fertility chart?

Ovulation dates are not directly indicated on charts produced by the Web Edition of the Hormonal Forecaster on MyFertilityCharts.com. Chart shading offers some indication of when ovulation occurs, but the overall calculated likely date is not shown on the chart. The calendar will highlight the date of ovulation though if chart shading is enabled and permitted. It will be highlighted after viewing your chart and then selecting another menu item if a date could be determined.

The Hormonal Forecaster desktop version more clearly shows the calculated overall ovulation date by circling the date at the bottom of the chart. If you synchronize with the desktop version, you can view ovulation dates with it. It will also upload calculated dates to the web edition and the web edition will show these dates on its calendar.

Why can't I view old charts?

Unless you apply credits to your records, you can only view the most recent fertility records that fall within the allowed grace period. Older records are inaccessible unless credits are applied to them.

What do the red X letters at the top of the chart indicate for blank columns?

If a record exists but is suppressed due to lack of an assigned credit and being outside of the grace period, a red X will appear at the top of the column on your fertility chart. This X indicates that there is data associated with that date but it is not being displayed. You can apply credits to records to change this.

What does it mean when a cycle day number is circled?

It is customary to circle the cycle number for a given date if you had intercourse on that date. If you have recorded sexual intercourse, its cycle number will appear circled on the chart to convey this information.

What does it mean when a temperature reading is circled?

Uncertainty was specified with the recorded temperature value. This is shown so that the data point can be treated with necessary skepticism.

How can I post a chart for others to see?

You can share your chart with everyone or the registered community. You can also post it on the public message boards. To post a chart on these boards, you should view the chart you wish to post by clicking on the View Fertility Charts menu link. Once at the chart, click on the Attach Chart to Public Message Board Post link immediately above the chart you wish to post. You will be given an opportunity to confirm your request and then be redirected to the public message boards. Log in and you should see a URL entered in the Link to Chart field on the post. You should not change this URL since it can only be viewed exactly as is by the public. Anyone who visits it will be able to view the chart whether or not they have an account at MyFertilityCharts.com.

Why is the chart on the public message boards no longer visible?

If you do not assign credits to older records, newer data may eventually cause the data on your chart to fall outside of the grace period. This will make the data inaccessible to you and the general public. Red X marks will show up at the top column of the chart to indicate this. You should apply credits to your fertility data records to avoid this.

What is the custom fertility field?

The custom field is an additional piece of data you can record to have show up on your fertility charts. The web edition does not display this field on charts, but the Hormonal Forecaster desktop version will. A separate row will appear with X's to mark days where this was recorded.

You can edit the name of the custom field using the Modify Personal Profile link under your Account Settings. By default this is set to spotting on both the web edition and desktop version. You can change this to represent any information you desire. Regardless of whether the names match, the records will be synchronized for this field when you run the web edition synchronization program.

How can I tell if I am pregnant?

Ovulation is indicated by a temperature shift during your cycle. This temperature shift normally lasts several days and then subsides shortly before your next cycle. If your temperature remains elevated or exhibits another upward shift similar to what typically occurs around ovulation, this can indicate pregnancy. If you experience a second upward shift in temperature or miss the start of your next period, you should take a pregnancy test to check for pregnancy and then visit your doctor.

When is the best time to try to get pregnant?

Intercourse around the time of ovulation is most likely to result in a conception. If you are trying to get pregnant, you should have intercourse when your body starts showing signs of approaching ovulation. Observation of cervical mucus can be particularly helpful to track since it identifies ovulation as it approaches. Basal body temperatures are valuable, but the temperature shift indicates the occurrence of ovulation. For individuals trying to conceive, it is more valuable to anticipate ovulation days in advance using other symptoms. You are best off trying to conceive beginning a few days prior to ovulation and leading up to ovulation itself.

If using any version of the Hormonal Forecaster, you want to schedule intercourse when your chart is darkly shaded to indicate high levels of fertility.

How can I show custom events on my charts?

You can define category events to track any custom data records or events. You can optionally select up to 5 of these events to show up on your fertility charts. To do this, select Account Settings and click on Select Events to Display on Charts.

Why can I not select to show custom events on my charts?

Viewing events on your chart is only available if you have a positive balance on credits. Chart interpretation and ovulation date calculation is also disabled when you run out of credits. If you use up all of your credits, you can add credits using the Purchase Additional Credits link under your Account Settings to enable these features.

If you are unfamiliar with credits, you can read more about their role in the Hormonal Foreccaster Web Edition by clicking here.

Ovulation Date Answers

How can I view calculated ovulation dates?

Ovulation dates will be colored on the selection calendar of the Hormonal Forecaster Web Edition on MyFertilityCharts.com. You can also view a listing of the dates and their origin by selecting Account Settings from the main menu and then clicking on Manage Ovulations.

Why are ovulation dates not calculated?

If you do not have a positive credit balance, have chart shading disabled, or never view your fertility charts, ovulation dates will not be calculated by the Hormonal Forecaster Web Edition.

What if the Hormonal Forecaster disagrees with an ovulation date calculated online?

If the Hormonal Forecaster desktop version calculates a different ovulation date, the date given by the desktop version should be given more weight. The desktop version will better explain which ovulation dates each symptom independently points towards and should be consulted. When you synchronize the desktop version with the web edition, calculated ovulation dates will be uploaded if selected. These dates override those calculated online and will be shown on the web’s date selection calendar.

The web edition uses a more streamlined algorithm to calculated ovulations to balance server loading. In most circumstances it will produce the same result. In instances where it does not, the desktop version is likely to be superior.

How are ovulation dates shown on the calendar?

A date will be colored green to represent ovulation. If the date is a light green, it represents only an approximate ovulation as calculated using calendar or rhythm method techniques. Darker green dates represent ovulations calculated from your symptothermal charts using the desktop version or web edition of the Hormonal Forecaster. These dates are more likely to accurately capture your actual day of ovulation and associated high fertility levels.

What techniques are used to calculate ovulation dates?

For future cycles, the calendar or rhythm method is applied as a rough estimate of ovulation. Then your symptothermal data is used to calculate ovulation once available. All available symptoms are analyzed collectively to estimate the closest day of ovulation. When symptoms disagree on the ovulation date, a middle range value is used. Fertility should be assumed to be high well around this date range. Chart shading will help indicate where fertility is highest based upon different recorded symptoms.

My data changed drastically, so why isn't the ovulation date changing?

Once the Hormonal Forecaster desktop version uploads a calculated ovulation date, the web edition cannot override it. If you change your data significantly but do not let the desktop version synchronize to refresh the ovulation dates, the old date will remain in the system. You can either synchronize to let the desktop remove the inapplicable ovulation or manually remove it by using the Manage Ovulations link under your Account Settings to remove the ovulation instance.

Can I manually specify the ovulation date myself?

There is no way to manually specify an ovulation date using the web edition alone. If you synchronize with the desktop version of the Hormonal Forecaster, you can manually specify the ovulation date using it. Upon your next synchronization, the specified ovulation date will be uploaded and then displayed by the web edition.

Category Event Answers

What are category events?

Category events are events such as moods, behaviors, or conditions that you wish to track. Common examples include headaches, breast tenderness, spotting, illness, or anything else you are interested in tracking.

The web edition only allows you to save and view recorded records. You can synchronize these recorded records with the desktop version and see more detailed statistical analysis of the events.

How can I more easily see when events have been recorded?

The Hormonal Forecaster desktop version allows you to see recorded category events on its main calendar screen represented by icons. You should synchronize your category events with the desktop version and view the recorded instances using it.

How do credits get factored into category events?

Credits do not factor into category events at all. You do not need to associate credits with them. There are no restrictions on viewing event records.

One or more events will not synchronize with the desktop Hormonal Forecaster?

Unlike the Pocket PC or Palm Edition of the Hormonal Forecaster, category events will not automatically get defined when you synchronize. You must manually specify the events you wish to track in both the desktop version and the web edition of the program. If an event is not synchronizing, you should double check that you have added it to both platforms and that the names match exactly. You can rename the category event if necessary to ensure a match and try again.

Calendar Date Answers

How are menstruations indicated on the calendar?

Menstruations are shaded using a pink color on the calendar. A darker pink represents a recorded menstruation. Light pink indicates a future menstrual cycle based upon specified average cycle length information (if ovulation is not yet known for the most recent cycle) or based upon the specified luteal length (if ovulation has been calculated).

These dates are more likely to accurately capture your actual day of ovulation.

How can I get the calendar to predict future cycles using my actual cycle length?

You can change the average cycle length used in the calculations by editing your Account Settings. Use this link on the main menu of the web edition and select the Modify Personal Profile link.

Keep in mind that your average cycle length is not applied to the very next cycle if ovulation has already been determined using symptothermal techniques. Under this scenario, the luteal length is applied to the ovulation date to better estimate the start of your next cycle.

How are future ovulation dates calculated?

Future ovulation dates (light green) are based upon the average cycle length and specified luteal length. These are approximations based upon the calendar method and should be treated as approximations until actual symptothermal data calculates a more reliable ovulation date (dark green).

How can I specify the length to assume for future menstrual periods?

Future cycles assume a fixed menstrual period length based upon your account settings. You can change this by clicking on the Account Settings link and then selecting Modify Personal Profile.

Why can I see past ovulation dates, but not past menstrual cycles?

Calculated ovulation dates are stored separately from fertility records. Since fertility data must have credits associated with them to be visible outside the grace period, menstrual period dates may not be accessible while ovulation dates will be.

Message Board Answers

I cannot log into the public message boards?

The Hormonal Forecaster public message boards are independent from the web edition of the Hormonal Forecaster. A separate login is required to access them. When you signed up for the web edition, you were given an opportunity to create a public message board login automatically. Your same username and password would have been registered for you if you did. If not, you will need to create a login on your own.

If you changed your password after creating your account or had your password reset, the public message boards will not automatically reflect this change. You will have to change or reset your password manually there or use your old password to gain access. More information is available here.

What is the difference between the private and public message boards?

The private message boards can only be used to send messages to a specific user. Each message can only target one recipient and that recipient must be a registered user at MyFertilityCharts.com.

The public message boards are accessible by anyone. Users do not need to register for the public boards or even at MyFertilityCharts.com to view postings.

Who can see messages sent on the private message boards?

Only the specified recipient and sender can view private messages.

How do logins for the public message boards work?

The public message boards use a separate login system. Your same username and password may have been registered for you when you signed up if you requested them to be. If not, you must manually create a public message board account. Your login does not necessarily have to be the same as that used at MyFertilityCharts.com. Changes to username or password on MyFertilityCharts.com will not affect your public message board login which must be modified separately.

Another user sent me an inappropriate message or advertisement?

I purchased credits, but they did not show up on my account?

Normally your transaction information will be used to successfully tie your payment to your account. This will be particularly true if you login to your account to access the payment links since your username is passed along during your transaction. This is the preferred approach. You should always wait a few minutes for your credits addition to be reflected in your account balance. If it still does not show up after thirty or more minutes, you can contact support@myfertilitycharts.com with your account username and transaction number and the issue will be investigated and resolved.

A page I visited displayed an error message?

If you receive an unusual error message, please note the error and the page it occurred on and report it. If specific steps were taken to produce the error, please include this information as well. You can email the error itself, the page, and any other helpful information to support@myfertilitycharts.com for a follow up investigation.
